Milky or Murky: FAQ

A: Mom's Morning Milk chooses oats as the primary ingredient because they offer a balanced combination of nutrition, sustainability, and taste that aligns with our commitment to high-quality, health-conscious products. Oats are known to help breastfeeding by promoting regular milk production in nursing mothers, making them a supportive choice for new moms. Unlike coconut or almond alternatives, oats provide a naturally creamy texture without the environmental concerns associated with nut farming, such as high water usage. Additionally, oat-based ingredients are hypoallergenic and free from common allergens found in dairy, coconut, and almonds, making them suitable for a wider range of dietary needs. By focusing on oats, we ensure that our offerings are both nutritious and environmentally responsible, supporting a healthy lifestyle for our customers and a healthier planet.

Our oat creamer thoughtfully blends organic brown sugar, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to complement the nutty flavor of the supplements chosen and the coffee it hopes to be added to.

A: Mom's Morning Milk does not use fenugreek in its products because, while fenugreek is commonly known as a natural lactation aid, it can cause unwanted side effects such as digestive discomfort and allergic reactions in some users. Additionally, fenugreek has a strong maple-like scent and flavor that may not be appealing to all customers. Furthermore, fenugreek sometimes has the opposite effect on women with a history of thyroid issues and can at times tank one's supply instead of boosting it. At Mom's Morning Milk, we prioritize the safety, comfort, and preferences of breastfeeding mothers by selecting ingredients that are both gentle and effective. Our formulations are carefully designed to support lactation without relying on fenugreek, ensuring a pleasant experience and minimizing the risk of adverse effects.

A: Yes, Mom's Morning Milk products offer several benefits even after you have completed your breastfeeding journey. Our formulations are designed to support postpartum wellness by promoting hormonal balance, enhancing skin health, and providing essential nutrients that help restore energy and vitality. In addition to helping with milk supply, moringa helps postpartum moms by providing a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which can promote overall health and support recovery. Milk thistle, on the other hand, aids in liver health, which is crucial for hormonal regulation and detoxification, further enhancing your postpartum wellness. Using Mom's Morning Milk can aid in maintaining overall well-being during the transition away from breastfeeding, supporting recovery and helping mothers feel nourished and cared for beyond lactation.
